Dolce Sosta Pastry & Gelato Shop is a small family-run business in the heart of Pienza, founded in 1992 from a passion for pastry and artisanal gelato.
For over thirty years, we have been making desserts and gelato with a simple goal: to offer something genuine yet special — products crafted with care, able to bring a moment of joy to those who taste them.
For us, pastry is not just a job, but a shared family passion, where everyone has their own role and contributes with the same enthusiasm.
Our story began almost by chance.
Vincenzo started working in a pastry shop at just 16, quickly realizing that this world would become his path.
Marusca began working in the same field at 20, in the very same pastry shop where we later met.
From that moment on, we have stayed together both in life and in work, growing and improving through years of experience in the laboratory, training courses and constant practice.
Over the years, we have also faced difficult moments, but our passion for pastry has always helped us move forward and improve.
Our goal has always been to listen to our customers and try to bring their ideas to life.

In 2016, we made one of our dreams come true by introducing the Ice Bike, a bicycle with a gelato cart designed to bring artisanal gelato directly to events.
Little by little, this service became known and is now an important part of our work.
